The FD4616 fuel filter has a fuel/water removal efficiency of over 99% and a filtration rating of 4 microns, 5 microns, and larger. It is a direct replacement part that traps more contaminants before they enter the fuel delivery system, improving engine performance.

The filter material used in the FD4616 is imported from Italy's Ahlstrom, known for its better strength, burst resistance, and stiffness. The filter paper's folding distance is more uniform, resulting in a higher dust holding capacity and longer service life compared to normal filter materials.

The FD4616 fuel filter features a 3-layer design, which has a higher dust holding capacity than the typical 1-2 layer filters. This helps block more impurities and contaminants from entering your engine or clogging your injectors.

The synthetic fiber material used in the FD4616 filter has a filtration efficiency of 99% at 4 microns, significantly higher than the 75% efficiency of normal cellulose or cellulose-glass fiber mixed materials at 20 microns. The FD4616's life span is also longer, ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 miles, compared to the typical 6,000 miles.
